Kate Stenberg, Kumiko Uyeda and Mary Artmann perform a concert of dynamic piano trios by women composers from the past 200 years, including Clara Schumann’s Trio in g minor and newer works by Auerbach and Baiocchi.
Berkeley Piano Club meeting open to guests: Concert featuring the rarely performed Schumann Quintet, Andante and Variations, for two cellos, two pianos, and horn.

Cellist Mary Artmann is a dynamic performer and teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area. She frequently performs in recitals, as well as in chamber music and orchestral contexts. Artmann delights in bringing many genres of music to life and in communicating with her audiences. She teaches cello and chamber music in East Richmond Heights and Berkeley, and is passionate about sharing her knowledge and skill with students. She has a special interest in smart body care for musicians, and recently presented a workshop on injury prevention at the Crowden Summer Adult Chamber Music Workshop.
